Ten sum to forma ksantoryczna. Pytałam dzisiaj H. Buschera, bo na planetcatfish nie wiedzą Michelle sugerowała, że jest to C. cavernicola
oto odpowiedź: this fish looks VERY interesting. You must be happy to got it. Must fetch a high price for Chinese people, gold=luck. But keep it. I never saw a fish like this.
About the name: look at fishbase, site is attached. C. cavernicola is only known from a cave in Namibia and the maximum known size is less than yours.
Known Clarias species in Lake Tang. are C. mossambicus, C. liocephalus = C. ornatus (endemic), C. theodorae. Probably it's a xanthoristic form of one of these (C. liocephalus??)

Co do Awaous - hobbista tej grupy kupił je do dyskowców, radzą sobie bez problemu. U nas pływają oddzielnie w akwarium, wiec nie mogę nic powiedzić.
